By Black Economic Alliance PAC |

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Black Economic Alliance PAC (BEA PAC), a nonpartisan group of business leaders, announced its endorsement for the 2020 battleground congressional races. The BEA PAC supports the following candidates for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives: Colin Allred (TX-32), Joe Cunningham (SC-01) Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07), Steven Horsford (NV-04), Elaine Luria (VA-02), Lucy McBath (GA-06), Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (FL-26), Lauren Underwood (IL-14), and Antonio Delgado (NY-19).

“We need the leadership of these candidates in the halls of Congress now more than ever as we do the hard work to break down the barriers that have blocked Black economic mobility for far too long,” said David Clunie, Executive Director, Black Economic Alliance. “The Black Economic Alliance PAC supports these qualified candidates because of their proven track record of tackling issues that impact the Black community. At a time when the wealth gap has drastically widened and the unemployment rate continues to rise at disproportionate levels, particularly for Black workers, these candidates have prioritized economic equity, increased access to resources, and championed opportunities for Black Americans to build lasting wealth in our communities.
