Endorsed candidates have a proven commitment to advancing a Work, Wages, Wealth agenda that drives economic opportunity
WASHINGTON, DC – Black Economic Alliance PAC (BEA PAC), a nonpartisan coalition of Black business leaders and allies supporting candidates who advance Black economic progress and thereby grow the entire economy, today announced its endorsement of 11 incumbents with a demonstrated track record of advancing BEA’s Work, Wages, Wealth agenda. BEA continues to invest in and partner with these leaders who are advancing our economic agenda, despite federal rollbacks and gridlock.
This slate includes leaders with proven records of delivering results, advancing policies that make their communities more affordable, and promoting long-term economic growth and opportunity, including Wes Moore (D-MD), Jon Ossoff (D-GA), Don Davis (D-NC-01), Lizzie Fletcher (D-TX-07), Steven Horsford (D-NV-04), Lucy McBath (D-GA-06), Kristen McDonald Rivet (D-MI-08), Deborah Ross (D-NC-02), Hillary Scholten (D-MI-03), Marilyn Strickland (D-WA-10), and Lauren Underwood (D-IL-14).
“These elected officials have proven what’s possible when leaders are focused on advancing Work, Wages, and Wealth for Black communities and growing the economy for all,” said Samantha Tweedy, CEO of the Black Economic Alliance. “BEA PAC is proud to re-endorse these incumbents, many of whom face difficult races in this pivotal election year, because they have track records of building economic opportunity, wealth, and long-term prosperity.”
BEA PAC endorses state, local, and federal incumbents and challengers who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to advancing BEA’s Work, Wages, Wealth agenda through tangible policy action. Endorsed candidates pledge to take meaningful steps to advance Black economic progress and prosperity, and incumbent endorsees must have a demonstrated track record and reaffirm this commitment as a condition of continued support.
BEA PAC’s 2026 political program is focused on securing elected leadership that prioritizes economic prosperity for Black Americans and, in so doing, grows the economy for all. Central to this effort is a strategy deploying business leaders, the most trusted messengers on economic issues that voters say are top of mind, to engage Black voters across key states and districts. Grounded in the latest data and research, the program is designed to elevate policies that drive Work, Wages, and Wealth while strengthening the broader economy.
