WASHINGTON, DC – Black Economic Alliance PAC (BEA PAC), a nonpartisan coalition of Black business leaders and allies supporting candidates who advance Black economic progress and thereby grow the entire economy, today announced its slate of endorsed U.S. Senate candidates to further its political strategy and build a Work, Wages, Wealth majority in Congress. The endorsed candidates include Scott Colom (D-MS), Illinois Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton (D-IL), Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), and former Governor Roy Cooper (D-NC), building on BEA PAC’s existing endorsements, including Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA).

“At this time of growing economic inequality and rollbacks to Black progress, we need leaders who understand that building a strong economy requires intentional investment in Black communities,” said Samantha Tweedy, CEO of the Black Economic Alliance. “BEA PAC is proud to work to elect a Senate majority committed to expanding opportunity, tackling affordability, and rebuilding an economy that works for all Americans.”

This slate of U.S. Senate endorsements builds on BEA PAC’s ongoing effort to support leaders committed to advancing its Work, Wages, Wealth agenda and expanding economic opportunity in Black communities, thereby growing the entire U.S. economy. Previous endorsees also include Wes Moore (D-MD), Don Davis (D-NC-01), Lizzie Fletcher (D-TX-07), Steven Horsford (D-NV-04), Lucy McBath (D-GA-06), Kristen McDonald Rivet (D-MI-08), Deborah Ross (D-NC-02), Hillary Scholten (D-MI-03), Marilyn Strickland (D-WA-10), and Lauren Underwood (D-IL-14)–leaders with proven records of delivering results, lowering costs for working families, and promoting long-term economic growth and opportunity. All BEA PAC endorsed candidates commit to taking meaningful steps to advance Black economic progress and prosperity. Incumbent endorsees must also demonstrate a strong track record of advancing these priorities and reaffirm their commitment as a condition of continued support.

BEA PAC’s 2026 political program is focused on securing elected leadership that prioritizes economic prosperity for Black Americans and, in so doing, grows the economy for all. Central to this effort is a strategy deploying business leaders, the most trusted messengers on economic issues that voters say are top of mind, to engage Black voters across key states and districts. Grounded in the latest data and research, the program is designed to elevate policies that drive Work, Wages, and Wealth while strengthening the broader economy.
