From Michigan to Nevada, BEA PAC-endFrom Michigan to Nevada, BEA PAC-endorsed candidates are putting Work, Wages, and Wealth on the ballot November 3rd.
WASHINGTON, DC – Black Economic Alliance PAC (BEA PAC) – a nonpartisan coalition of Black business leaders and allies supporting candidates who advance Black economic progress and thereby grow the entire economy – today announced its latest round of 2026 endorsed candidates. Through a rigorous vetting process, BEA PAC has determined that these candidates in critical districts and states are committed to advancing a Work, Wages, Wealth agenda that will expand Black economic progress. The endorsed candidates for the U.S. House and Senate include William Lawrence (D-MI-07), Denise Powell (D-NE-02), and Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI). The endorsed candidates for Governor include Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D-MI), former Atlanta Mayor and Senior Advisor to President Biden Keisha Lance Bottoms (D-GA), Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley (D-WI), and Attorney General Aaron Ford (D-NV). The endorsed mayoral candidate is Mayor Karen Bass (D-CA) for Mayor of Los Angeles.
“BEA PAC is proud to endorse this new slate of candidates because they are committed to advancing policies that strengthen our economy, ensure opportunity, and expand Black Americans’ pathways to work, wages, and wealth,” said BEA CEO Samantha Tweedy. “Voters are looking for leaders with real, achievable solutions that provide an economic vision to help them get ahead, which our rigorous endorsement process ensures each of these candidates has.”
BEA’s own polling and research has made clear that rising costs matter to Americans not simply because they are making life more expensive, but because they are making it harder to achieve economic mobility. Voters are looking to candidates who present concrete, achievable solutions to lower costs and build wealth.
BEA PAC’s endorsements highlight the importance of electing leaders who will advance policies that expand economic opportunity and strengthen the ability of Americans to work, earn, and build wealth. From state and local investments in workers and families to federal policies that shape access to critical economic resources, leaders at every level of government have a role to play in building an economy that creates opportunity, rather than taking it away.
This latest slate builds on BEA PAC’s previous 2026 endorsements, including Governor Wes Moore (D-MD); Senators Cory Booker (D-NJ), Jon Ossoff (D-GA), and Mark Warner (D-VA); Representatives Don Davis (D-NC-01), Lizzie Fletcher (D-TX-07), Steven Horsford (D-NV-04), Lucy McBath (D-GA-06), Kristen McDonald Rivet (D-MI-08), Deborah Ross (D-NC-02), Hillary Scholten (D-MI-03), Marilyn Strickland (D-WA-10), and Lauren Underwood (D-IL-14); Illinois Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton (D-IL); District Attorney Scott Colom (D-MS); and former Governor Roy Cooper (D-NC).
